But….is the trend of rich and famous athletes showing off their cribs, whips and bling behind the recent string of sportsters (Sean Taylor, Eddie Curry, Antoine Walker, etc.) who have been robbed at gunpoint in their very own homes?

Start with the premise that there are haters in the world who can’t stand that athletes are making lots of money.

Add in the fact that many of these haters have nothing of their own and are desperate to “get theirs”.

Mix that with the fact that many athletes have tremendous wealth and are careless in flaunting that wealth…..

….and you have a recipe for disaster.

We’re certain that there are more people in industry and business making more than 10 mil a year than there are in sports……but yet you rarely see entrepreneurs lining their whips up outside their houses so the TV cameras can record their wealth. And….you rarely hear about them being the victims of a home invasion.

Why?

Dudes aren’t hating on them because they’re not rubbing their wealth in the eyes of us.

They fly below the radar.

Maybe it’s time for sportsters to do the same thing.

Or face the consequences.
