Eli Ellie Manning has received an Academy Awards nomination as Best Actress for his her role in the gender-bender farce, “Giants Go To The SuperBowl”.

In announcing the nomination, the Academy cited Manning’s stunning impersonation of a servicable NFL quarterback, “This rags-to-riches-and-probably-back-to-rags story is heartwarming. The little sister who always looks up to her superstar big brother and redeems herself by doing something incredibly special is a storyline for the ages. Quite frankly, considering her only prior work was as the lead character in Little Giants…..we didn’t know Miss Manning had this type of performance in her.”
