Dupes awoke this morning and, as is his habit, checked out LKJ’s Night Desk for pearls of wisdom. Imagine his horror as he paged down and scoped a video of that favorite Philly band of 80’s blow monkey closet Kasha Goo Goo fans - the Hooters. The fucking Hooters??? Are you fucking kidding me??
Ladies and Gentlemen, I give you what was possibly the greatest band on earth in the late 80’s. The band discerning Philadelphia music fans were listening to while others were busy moussing up their mullets to see the Hooters or the A’s. I give you: Beru Revue. Shall we???

when led zeppelin’s hair styles are half as interesting as the hooters….i’m sure LKJ will post them as well.

Beru Revue? The Hooters were the gayest band in the land…behind culture club….back in the eighties….but at least they made it to MTV and Live Aid. I’m pretty sure I saw some of the members of Beru Revue working the refreshment stand at Live Aid.
If you’re going to swing back…swing back hard! Devo would have been wicked okay.
